Under the Oaks was designed as an outdoor museum experience shaped by projection, lighting, landscape, and atmosphere. The goal was to extend the museum experience beyond the building and into the grounds after dark.
Rather than overwhelming the site, the concept used light and media to reveal the environment slowly. Trees, architecture, pathways, and open space became part of the visual composition.
